Found Or other daily/hot rod

If you find anything else out here worth looking at, let me know and I may be able to take a peak. Sorry, just saw this.

You posted this a couple months too late.
My buddy just sold a rust free 66 gto from Mexico for just under $30k. Full interior, and all. All it needed was a buff and some interior tidying to put it in a local show.

The 57 was a bust. Much more rust that the seller conveniently avoided taking pics of and it hasn't run in over a year. The guy was smoking something on his pricing.

They hopped up the motor and left the brakes stock. That beast must be a bear to stop. Be gentle if you test drive it, that single master gives out and you only have the P brake. Looks like she's been sitting a bit. No head liner dash is rough. Digging the center console, kick panel look like it's missing too.

This one is a bit of an unfinished project. It was parked after the paint job for a bit. Currently has a 350/TH350 which are not original. I can tell from the pics it will need the suspension rebuilt and some brake upgrades but the 4 wheel drums will stop the car without issue if it is all in good shape until I get time to do upgrades. Our main goal is to find a car with a good body/paint and good base drivetrain we can drive as-is, but I don't mind future upgrade projects.

I hated my 66 Chevelle with shock drums, I could not stop as well as every other car on the freeway. In so cal that meant leaving a huge open space in front, for all the other drivers to dive into. :angry1: front disc with split circuit master made it a whole different car.

All my chevy II had single master. One day while making a right hand turn, at @15 mph, old dude steps off curb to cross street, I stomp on brakes, felt like stepping on rotten fruit. I go sailing by, getting dirty looks from old dude since I barely missed him. 1st gear on the ole power glide and the P brake. New master time. That was still in time when 4 wheel drum brakes were still quite common, and the remain industry still had pride in there work. I don't think I even checked on new master price, I might have kit'd the old MC myself. I forget now, but then I had way more time than money.

The hunt is over. We found a rust free car with a professional paint job, a fresh motor and transmission, and it is a decent driver. It still needs new suspension bushings, a brake upgrade, and all the trim reinstalled. The interior needs a headliner installed that was included with the car and the buckets will need to be reupholstered as well.
