If you're piecing together junkyard parts, you'll be in for a lot of work. This link explains a lot of what you'll need to know.
What do you need to know?
There is a ton of data out there on them.
Just download the data sheet.

You should find what ever you need there.
Ok how bout just how much fluid does it hold
I have a friend at a forklift company getting me parts. I also have a double ended ram that is paired with it. It is a 2.5 bore with 5.5 stroke. I need to know will the orbital work? I googled the # and found on (that other site) that people were using it.
Are you asking how much fluid it displaces? I believe the link Fordum posted tells you that, and the link I posted tells you how to calculate how many turns lock to lock you'll end up with.
What is that cylinder going to attach to on your axle? That is an awfully short throw, most are 8-8.5".
