Should I install them myself, or have a shop do it?

So I bought the ord 1" body lift, and the new poly urethane body mounts. To this point, I have done everything in my truck that has been done. However, this looks like a PITA. Can i get some comments please? Should I just pay to have these installed, or say eff it, and nock it out myself? If so, any hints / suggestions? I will be doing the work solo with basic hand tools. Just like everything else:-)

Diy

Yea man DIY its retartedly easy just time consuming. Watcch for wires grounds hoses when u lift each side other than that It an easy 300 to 350 for somome to rape you for 4 to 5 hours work :D

What does it entail? Just remove the old ones and swap in new ones? Or do I have to take them all off, then somehow raise the body up and put the new parts in... Any ideas? Or pictures / links to good howtos?

Very simple job as said above. Just presoak all the nuts and bolts with PB Blaster a few days before. May even want to do it several times before you start.

I pulled my body off when I was doing my build but I have heard the best way to do it is one side at a time. Undo all body mounts on one side, loosen the other side. Jack up first side, install but don't completely tighten, undo otherside, jack up, install and tighten everything up. Adjust linkages, fan shroud clearance, wires, etc. Pretty easy.
