I got a set of ORD caliper brackets to do a rear disc install on my 14BFF. It came with spacers that go between the axle tube where the backing plate was and the caliper bracket is. I was wondering before I start ripping it apart, I will probably need longer bolts huh? Anyone install a set of these? What is the bolt size and thread pitch?

Also, proportioning valve, yes/no?

Thanks in advance!

IIRC, they're 1/2"-20, i.e. NF bolts.

I strongly and wholeheartedly recommend NOT changing the combo/prop valve unless you have a really good reason to, like everything else in your brake system is new and you've pressure bled and bled and bled and you're still having problems.

Many, many folks have great luck with a stock master and prop valve on disc conversions.

I finished my 3/4 ton swap w/disk brakes last month and didn't need a prop valve. Stock 1972 breaking system and all seems to work fine so far.
