I posted this in the ORD forum awhile back and didn't get much response.
Has anyone had any experience with the 2 1/2" ORD shackle flip? How much did it change your pinion angle? How much did it move your axle foward?

If it helps my current rear setup consist of 8" springs w/o load leaf, 1"Zero Rate, stock shackle setup and it sits a little lower than I like. I'm thinking that by using the 2 1/2" shackle flip and remove the 1" Zero Rate will level it up and give alot better flex. Up front I am running 6" procamp springs with ORD HD shackles. Any thoughts would be great.

i've got the 2.5 flip with basically stock springs. i used 5* shims to get the driveshaft to stop viberating. if you have a CV shaft its supposed to put it right inline, where you want it.

doesnt really move the axle forward.maybe slightly by rotating the spring pack. i didnt notice a difference.

i think overall its pretty good setup for the average truck, however i think im going to move the bracket forward a bit and possibly use longer shackles to get a better shackle angle.

I've got the 2.5" flip w/ 4" springs.... I'm thingking of getting a 4" flip bracket cuz I still got a little bit of saggy butt. I sell it to you for a good price if you are interested.

Until then I'll see if I can find some pics for ya.

These are the best shots I have right now. I'm not at home right now...so I can't just run outside and snap a couple good shots...

Oh yeah... I also have a 1" add-a-leaf in the rear, moving the axle back 1.5" along with 4" BDS rear springs...

You call that saggy but? Looks level to me (and nice truck BTW).

Thanks for the compliment…
She’s got 3x3x3/16 rock now in place of those rusted out rockers.

You can’t tell in that pic, but the ground is higher in the back (one of the reasons I park it there). The rear doesn’t sag too bad… but I also want to remove my overload springs (and maybe on more leaf)… the extra 1.5” from the 4” bracket will help keep her nice and level... :D

Hey fad2blk99---what do you want for your 2.5 inch flip brackets?
Thanks.
