Steve,

Looks easy enough. Is there any need for some sort of spacer to eliminate noise?

Doesn't look like much play done there, but haven't taken apart a spring before.

Thanks

Steve, It doesn't like you have a wedge shim in your rear springs. Is this correct, and if so, do you not need then with the ORD shackle flip?
By the way, thank you for the site and the research you do for all of us(like you don't enjoy it!!!).

Steve,
I read the review and it looks good. I noticed you're still running the spacers on the rear. How are they holding up? What size tires are you bolting up to those bad boys? Thanks.

It's not what you buy, it's what you build!

The spacers are great, I run 36x12.5 16" TSL radials on 16x10 Alum rims. I don't have any shims, but my t-case is lowered.

QUESTIONS: Whats the difference between the add leaf and 1" blocks? Do you need to lower the t-case when using a 4" lift (are shims on the springs the alternative)? If you lower the t-case does it affect the clearence and attachment of headers? Thanks.

Blocks are placed in between the spring pack and the spring pad while add-a-leafs have the center pin run through them to become part of the spring pack. You may or may nor have to lower the tcase with a 4" lift, things like tcase and tranny models really play with angles, the best thing to do is use an angle finder and make sure your tcase and yoke are not off more that 2 degrees.Shims are one way of moving the pinion up to get within that 2 degrees, lowering the tcase is another or a combination could be used. You should be fine with header clearance when moving the tcase down, however when running full length headers you may come close to the front shackle bolts. A CV style driveshaft can really help with angles as well.

I think they are around 30 bucks and include new center pins.
