Or maybe just laugh for no outward reason.


BUT, an important preparation milestone has been reached, the brownies are done! At least my 2.5 batches are done, I think Mom's still cooking. She also baked a bunch of cookies over the weekend. Disaster was averted on saturday though, Mom lost an element on her stove and there's not a new one in the valley on a holiday weekend but luckily I have a spare stove (un-used downstairs kitchen) that somehow had the right part so we're all back in business.

This is starting to sound like an organized event. Now about those Brownies...

This BBQ is really turning into an event for us I can tell you, there's lots of prep goes into feeding 150 people. It's kind of fun just because it's different to think about. And I did get to lick the bowl after making brownies, that spooled the turbo up for a hour or so.
