ORD body lift

I am looking at buying an ord 1" body lift for my 91 k5, but am wondering how hard it will be to install. I know that I will have to trim the fan shroud, but what about the trans and tcase linkages? Will I need to extend them? I don't have a welder, so extending the linkages, if required, will be a problem.

I had to adjust the transfer case linkage. Just adjust no cutting or welding required. Same with the trans linkage. My fan shroud cleared.

I put one on my 91 and it worked fine but it is a 4spd with a different t-case. I did have to trim my fan shroud but it's not original either.

I ran one in my 90 along with poly mounts. I didn't have any issues and just had to adjust linkage for the trans and t case and trimmed the bottom of my fan shroud. I just removed it all and put solid mounts in because it will be a truggy when finished. It's all for sale if you are interested. Shoot me a email at [email protected]

no issues at all with my 81.... had to adjusted my 350 trans linkage, just peak under and see if you have enough room on the trans link rod for the 1" it will be raised, if not, then remove it and take it to a welder and have it lengthened. my np208 t-case shifter was fine, I read you just need to take the boot off and re-install afterwards, but I didn't. I need to trim the lower rad fan shroud, haven't done it yet, just removed it in the meantime
spray the old bolts with wd40 and let em soak for a day...

Yep, I have 2 left to remove on the driver side and then they will go. I will contact everybody I have PM's from first. I should have the last 2 out tomorrow night.
