ORD Cousin Willard on the roof

They have been working on it for a long time but I think the actual finishing took place in a rush. I was in there shop 6 months ago or more probably and Cousin Willard was already in there being built. They had done alot of the tube fab work but it had no skins or sheetmetal when I saw it.

I believe the original game plan was for Willard to be in UA last year. I saw the front tubework on it when I was driving by ORD on the way home to NE from Moab in May '06...

And please no, not another build thread. These are so yesterday. Haven't you guys noticed that the actual tech content per post count is the lowest in the so-called "build threads"?

alot

I think it went down the highway for Ultimate advanture at 7,000#s or slightly over.

That is with a few spare parts, spare tire, and enough stuff for two guys to camp for a week.

I bet it goes on the trail at 6,500 plus pounds.

Willard scored pretty sweet on the RTI ramp at the Off Road Show in Glenwood this year too. Over 960 in Rev amd 8something in forward. Did AWESOME in UA07 and 08. Great machine. I was on Transfer With The Watsons just a couple of weeks ago and It appears Willard is Comfy too as the Young watson's were sleeping nicely in the back.

Bring up an old thread from the dead. What are the specs on cousin Willard? Is it still around?
