i recently purchased a doubler kit and had a few issues with the adapter and main shaft , the guys at ORD were very helpful and worked with me to get the replacement parts out right away, jim at ORD walked me through the steps that led me to believe there was a error in machining on the mainshaft, he also told me that they were out of stock on the chevy 32 spline shaft, he informed me that he could "Borrow " a shaft from a customers truck, and would 2nd day air it to me to keep me on schedule for a cinco de mayo trail run we have planned, thats customer service a its best , THANKS ORD FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND PROMPT SERVICE :waytogo:

doubler

great write up on the ORD doubler , i did my nv4500 doubler back in the summer of 2008 ,other than changing the gear oil a few times ,its been trouble free , i too experienced a couple of the things that you stated in that write up, I.E. ,range box detent too weak & the figure 8 input shaft in a round pattern 205 t-case, its held up great behind a mild 454 & earlier this year i swapped over to a GM 6.2L diesel with a ATS turbo set up (18-20 MPG):D, its almost unstoppable in granny/double low , now if i could just find a LOMAX 205 (JB conversions no longer produces them) that would be icing on the cake .
