Do these look like the right diagonal pieces. I thought I was supposed to get any SB 80's pieces because the motor mounts wont bolt to the 69 stock ones. Does it matter that the truck was not solid axle style?

Not sure I really understand your question. If you are trying to use ORD's Competition Motor Mounts on a 69, by changing the diagonal motor mount supports, I don't think that is going to work for you. You need to look at DIY4x's crossmember replacement for the 69-72 chevys. This is what I am putting in my 72 K5. This would be a better option for you and all the parts are there......no guess work. Good Luck!

This is what I'm trying to do. I just talked to ORD and I got the ones off a IFS truck and need the straight axle ones. Just posted in the parts wanted section. Diy looks good also but already bought ORD mounts and crossmember and need to make them work.

Thanks guys

If it helps any, the diagonal pieces on my stock crossmember don't look much like those. I don't think your new ones will attach to the stock crossmember.

I used the diag mounts from my old 83 and built my own crossmember
