ORD frame repair kit install

Okay, I finally decided to take the plunge and fix my cracked frame. What I wanted to do is remove the steering box and clear the area of any other obstacles, put the front end up on some jack stands, and then call one of those freelance welding guys, the ones who work out of their trucks, to do the welding job. Will this work? Anybody else tried it? Cost? I shudder at the thought of taking the truck to a garage for repair!!

I did my welding too, it will be super simple to take evrything apart and have a welder come out.... /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
