I have the ORD FUSH kit on the Blazer. The FUSH bushing outer edges (shoulders) are very thick. It is much thicker than the shoulder bushings on the springs. When I hooked my springs/shackles up, the top where it squeezes the FUSH bushing is much wider than the bottom where it connects and squeezes the spring bushing. Pictures are attached and may help understand what I am getting at.

I would think this is not correct. The angles are too far off. I used the bushings that came with the kit. Not sure what I did wrong.

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: Your 52"s are actually the cause of this, as the stock rear springs bushings are narrower than those on the stock 47" fronts, if that makes sense.

You'll need a 1/4" spacer on each side at the bottom. Kert has exactly whatcha need:

And I do believe he can, on request, provide them with 9/16" holes or whatever size bolt you're using.

Or you can use flat stock; I welded some into my shackles (compare left side to right):

For the very short term you can stack fender washers.

Well dang it! I thought I had done enough reading to catch something like that. It never even crossed my mind that the FUSH would be wider. Guess I wasn't really paying attention. The B52s fit fine and I couldn't figure out what I did to get the rear wrong. Ugg.

Thanks for the quick response. I will get some washers and fix this right up. Man, sometimes I amaze myself at my ability to miss stupid little things like that. Oh well, I know now. Again, thanks.

Crap. As I'm looking at it, mine's the other way around -- the top is narrower than the bottom.

In any event, it's a question of the bushings you're using. I have a custom FUSH -- when I did mine, ORD and Kert weren't making them yet -- that used whatever size bushing I had extras of :haha:

I'd crack out the calipers or tape and double-check, but it's a lot easier to fix the metal than to custom-order bushings in a weird size.

The stock front spring hangers are 3.5" wide, the rear hangers are 3" wide. When you put 2.5" rear spring up front, you need bushings with a 1/2" shoulder (rather than 1/4" like you have in the picture) to make a total width of 3.5"

I have an extra set of bushings...the wrong size of course. I will do the spacer method to fix it.
