ORD fush vs oem

you will need a chop saw, and a friend with an arc welder and some old rods that have been sitting out.

just make a cut here, and the shackle gets welded right in between the two resulting pieces

Do yours first and send pictures for reference.
Man, you've got some work ahead of you, you're driveshaft is too short, control arms are all rusty and the leaf springs are missing, the PO really sold you a lemon.
I never should have bought the pile of junk.

Finally got around to installing the FUSH kit today. My suspicions were confirmed, these Kevlar bushings only have about 3000 miles on them, and by no means is it a long travel suspension, it's just 4 in lift springs and shocks. Also the tube is kind of wallowed out.IMG_20230305_110158636.jpgIMG_20230305_120621320~2.jpgIMG_20230305_120638833~2.jpg

Crappy old pics from my '82 K30 3+3.

The spring would always rub the frame.
