Arent these supposed to be 1/2" longer than stock??? the ones i got are EXACTLY the same length as my stock ones. i guess i dont really care, because i put them on anyways, but was just wondering.

they are 1/2" longer than 69-86 shackles. In 87 Chevy went to longer ones.

Yup...Triaged is correct. On my 88 the stock and the ORD are the same length...
I checked my ORD units against box stock units... Same length.

Judging from the parts listed in your post you have an '88-91 K5 (TBI motor and 241) In '88 GM went to a longer shackle for some reason, exactly 1/2" longer than previous years. Ours are the same as the later trucks, but 1/2" longer than anything else. So basically you get a strength upgrade and greasable bolts but the length stays the same. Sorry for any cornfusion.
