This is true- the shackles are for 69-87 applications. I believe, however, (correct me if I'm wrong on this) that Blazers and Suburbans didn't get the longer shackle upgrade in 88, just the pickups did.

I looked at the shackles compared to the ord shackels and mine dont look near that wimpy. I have a 91 and i dunno if they are aftermarket or what but they dont look as puny as the ones on the product reviews.
