Ok so i got a buddy, well kinda buddy, he was telling me that he called off road design and talked to stephen, apparently stephan said he wouldnt run the B52 kit because it moves the hanger out to far blah blah blah, apparently stephan also told my buddy that he was sending him a axle anti wrap kit (like the DIY wraptor kit) for free to test out as i guess ORD is designing one and want him to test it out? Also he calls ORD and tells them he is with a company called TNT offroad, would this grant him a discount? Would stephan really give out kits for free for test? If he is I would be more then willing to test out his bumpers, I'd even pay for shipping:waytogo: Anyway i just want to know the answer to my question as this so called buddy bends the truth ALOT and i know there are a couple vender guys from ORD on here. By the way ORD is an awsome company and i am very happy with there parts i have on my truck (crossover & shackle flip kit)

Yep, BS, when you have a company like ORD you have guys falling all over themselves trying to get you to let em test this that or the other.

Anti wrap kit? We offer our traction (anti-wrap) bars, that's all there will be. 4 link rear kit to come.

As far as getting one for free? We almost never give stuff to customers for "prototype" parts, we usually test things ourselves and then ship out a number of kits at a reduced price to make sure everything is good and that install etc. is easy and straight forward.

We have no plans for a truss like you describe, not interested in a bolt on one and the market is flooded with weld on 14 bolt trusses.

We can go more in depth on the pro's and con's of 52's if that was part of this too :thumb:

Well, sounds Like you got an answer straight from the horse's mouth. Not that I am calling Chris a horse. Well, you know what I mean.

Ya i know what you guys mean, also chris could you tell me whats the purpose of him telling you guys he is with TNT offroad, does it offer a dicount of some sort? (the company that me and my stepdad wanted to start but plans fell through)

I know it's hard for some people to grasp when their friends are full of it....

So, Just to be clear....
Usually, when you know someone that makes crap up, i.e., pathological liars,
They aren't 1% bs'ing.... They are 100% bs'ing.

I'm willing to bet your friend never even talked to ord.

If he did, I apologize.
But, I know a few people that make up EVERYTHING.
I'm talkin' ridiculous stuff.

I knew this one guy that told my fiance,
That we had built a show-truck that had a hydraulic bed, and lambo doors, etc.....

She shows up, steamed that I have this big secret!
WTF!?
I told her, "I wish I had a show truck!"

Farkin' nutjobs, some a these people!

For jeebus sake...
I have people down the street from me, that will post on facebook,
about how they were "with the family all day @ Six Flags."
When, for damm sure, they were at my house ALL day... :doah:

He's probably trying to get a discount, if you want I can check on Monday.

That first sentence does sound like Stephen though, so he probably did call and talk to him.

Some people just like to talk, I'm sure he's a good guy, that's just how some people are.

maybe your "kinda buddy" is bsing, maybe he's not.......why bring this to an open forum?

don't trust anyone that lies......anyone that lies can not be trusted.

i have a small construction company, can you get me a free pair of boots, i'll pay shipping?

Usually if you are looking to buy products from a certain company at a jobber price, if you don't have an EIN you aren't going to get jobber price.

I don't know how ORD works but most places have a buy in to get the better wholesale prices. Your not going to get anything without an EIN they need it to prove you are an actual business

ya chris you could check that out for me on moday that would be awsome. i would like to preserve the company name i came up with in hopes of one day opening it up. By the way ORD should bring their rigs up to oregon and wheel browns camp, I'd love to see cousin willard tear up can opener or 7 up...

Tell your buddy that vendors pay me to run their parts

sponsorable sheetmetal space is available on my rig... inquiries should be directed to my advertising/media department... large checks payable to "Cash" are suggested...

People are always trying to get something for Free. rather its ORD DYI or anyof them. ITs Crazy. Your Friend is Got Balls telling you hes getting all of this free from Stephen. Stephen is a Generous Guy as is his Entire Crew. U need help he Helps U have an Idea he Listens.Need some awesome ORD stickers, u get em. U break down on the Trail His whole Family as well as Shop Makes sure u are at Base Camp safe and sound. Might even buy you a meal or two. But not Stephen nor anyone else out there is Gonna let you take Food out of there Families mouth. Giving away Free Parts would be just that. Maybe not at the Onset but If you were to test a part and it Failed or was not to your standars and u complained then what gain is there for u or the Lender.

Those guys use your ideas combined with there Ideas and KNowwhow and Develope you the best Products possible and Tested by them in the Field. So that they may continue to Feed there Families and your Habbits. REst assured your friend is full of it. Anywho everythign has allready been said thats just my Two Bits.

So Stephen or Chris how about some Free Parts for me. Your Biggest uhhhh What ever I am. BAWHAHAAA Love you guys. Keep up the Great work.

You could say that I have known Stephen for somewhere around 36 years. Your buddy can't call him up, blow smoke for a bit and get free parts. (Trust me I've tried:haha:) He could get a discount with a legit business. Besides ORD has an anti-wrap bar setup that works well. Why would they be testing a new one?

Parts are not tested by any Tom, Dick and harry that calls up. They are run on company vehicles, sold to close and trusted customers and usually pretty well tortured by the time the average everyday customer calls and orders them.

I say your buddy had a conversation with Stephen. What each of them says that conversation was about are two totally different things.
