ORD Rear Supershackles

I ordered some 6" f/r custom springs a few weeks ago and while I was ordering I had you add whatever else I needed. I went through the parts today and I found all the bushings and the heavy duty front shackles but what I got confused about was the 6" HD rear supershackles.

I don't have a shackle flip and as we discussed you didn't think that was the best option. Will the supershackles not lower the truck 6" with the factory shackles?

I honestly can't remember what we were doing with them? I could be totally wrong here I just can't figure it out.

Stephen is at a 4WD event, but I think I have an answer for you.

The 6" shackle, being 2" longer than stock, will lower the truck 1". However, that should've been accounted for in your springs. The longer shackle is necessary for those higher travel springs, we virtually always use longer shackles with our custom rear springs.

That makes perfect sense. I knew there was a reason I just wasn't sure why.
