A good quality LONG stroke air hammer and a cutting torch make rivet removal easy on light duty trucks
This is where I swear by a GOOD air hammer! I bought a Matco one several years ago, used it to do an engine crossmember and shackle flip. It would actually take the rivet heads off with no cutting beforehand! I just used a cut-off wheel to do one cut across the head to make it faster.
