ORD steering box brace

Anybody gone to crossover and gotten rid of their ORD bolt in steering brace? I'm looking for one for my '89 Blazer. I know they have a few different models so I'd need to be able to make sure it would fit mine.

Likewise also looking for a Jeep Cherokee XJ steering shaft for the same truck or Big Ugly.

I have an XJ shaft, $25 shipped. I can probably even melt out the goo and grease it for you. Then just notch your column.

Nope, don't melt out the goo. I'm going to try and just heat it up and then slide it in place like someone else did.

Can it wait until this Thursday? Get paid then.

Yeah, I can wait.

It shouldn't take much heat at all. It's a very fine line between heating it and torching it... kind of like roasting marshmallows
