yep, i had no prob when i did mine...regular dewalt corded drill, correct size bit, bumper and motor in place and went to town on it. It wasn't all that bad to do either. Should take less than an hr...

Since we are on this subject, were any of yall not able to install the smaller brace on a last run (91, maybe 88-90 also, possibly even a tad before) because GM already had a little brace in there in almost the same position?

I believe ORD says to pull the stock one and replace it with theirs. I know I did.

:pimp: ordered it today. cost $135 with shipping. should be here by friday.... I'll let yall know how the install goes. any more tips on installing would be good. :D

this will be my burban's first mod :pimp:  :pimp1:

I used my bohemeth 1/2" Drill with no problems at all, but my front bumper was off at the time. The hardest part was getting to the front-top bolt on the steering box tightened down.

i need money for this thing so badly...... now where to find the money.. hmmmm

There used to be something about that on the "Projects" page either here or ORDs site.

And I used an old B&D 110V drill on one truck & a small air drill, both 3/8", on the other. Both worked/fit just fine. Both trucks completely assembled.
