ORD traction bar

Ok makes sense.
Where does the single eyelet side weld or bolt to?
The double eyelet goes on the supplied bracket, welded to the axle.

Under what conditions are these ideal and are the most beneficial, off-road only or street as well?

Applied power conditions. Climbing or hard throttle is where we see it most, exasperated by larger tires or big power

Ok, thanks.
That is a better picture than ORD provides in the product description.

But where did you get that bar? I don’t have anything like that?

that pic is from ORD’s website.

keeps the rear axle from "wrapping" the leaf springs into a S shape... then when the wheels slip the axle snaps back... this loading and unloading can break u-joints,, pinions,, the leaf springs themselves, as well as cause violent wheelhop.

The antiwrap bar converts the rotational torque into down force as the axle now "plants" the tires... you will feel it the first time you step on the gas.. the rear squat will be replaced with a lifting feeling in the rear of the truck.

It works very well,, my buggy used to hop badly going uphills with the shackle flip on the rear.
now it plants the tires hard and the axle wrap is gone.... you won't be disappointed !!

Still, where do you even get the front cross member bar it welds to like the pic posted?

ORD isn’t the easiest to navigate at times.

For me, that bar you weld onto. I had no idea what it is called or where it goes. It says crossmember but my cross member looks nothing like that. So I think is mine incorrect, is this a second cross member?...

I searched “Lincoln, Hobart, Miller” cross member using duck duck go search engine. And nothing in regards to cross members came up. I will try google and see if something else comes up.

Anyway.
Thanks.

there are many cross members, any bar from frame rail to frame rail is a cross member. So they are named sometimes. Eng. trans, front, rear, etc.

That square tube crossmember is a new, stand alone part for the traction bar. I could be wrong but I think it is part of the kit. These traction bars come in different lengths so I would not order this off of their web site, I highly recommend calling them for their recommendation on which length would be best for you.

@nvrenuf Took awhile but I found the ORD on page 8 of the cross member search...

I have no way to weld anything so this has to wait until I can find someone who can.

@centexk5 I had no idea, I kept getting results for “Hobart track team” etc. There may be a certain level of understanding that sometimes more seasoned people forget others don’t have. I’m here to learn so thanks

Again, call ORD. I believe this kit is supposed to be bolt in.
