I am strongly leaning towards purchasing this. ORD Twin Stick.

Does anyone here have it set up and if so how do you like it?

Is it bolt and play? I’ve read a few instances where clearance in the tranny cover hump, where the stick comes out can rub against the passenger side of that cover.

I do tend to experience and history teaches me well, of always having everything that can go wrong with “plug and play” go wrong. So issues you have experienced are welcome and I don't mean criticism to be “bro, ord sucks man, they forgot a bolt”. I mean real issues.

Any body have pictures or video using this set up, if so, can you post or link them, thanks?

i have 2 ord doubler kits and triple stick shifters . great products and fit-n-finish .

there might be a 1/8" to remove off the floor hump to give just that tiny bit of extra working room is all .

i did a 205 twin stick kit i did for a guy and had to just skim the floor panel a hair .

should be a stupid simple install job . i know the tripple stick units i have done and the twin stick 205 units have all been easy .

any questions just ask buddy :waytogo:

did you tell ORD to give me my stock points for your order ? :rotfl: i have ordered a LOT from them over the years .

Nah, but I goofed and accidentally ordered two. I called they changed it to back 1 but it already processed...

Clear your phone cookies, kids...

Im stoked Ive been having issues on top of issues as can be seen in my megathread... i pulled the shifter today after it jammed and wouldnt move... Im over it. First ORD of hopefully more to come.

ORD for me since early 2001 or 2002 and never looked back ........ lots of money dumped in that place for me or friends rides . :waytogo:

I’m also looking at buying this, interested in how you like it. If you feel like posting pics that would be awesome!

I plan on it. It’s supposed to be here next week. I guarantee if any issues can arise, I will experience them...

Install took about an hour. I still have to put the transmission hump back on and check for clearance. But before buttoning it all up I need make sure it works

play with the length of the heim joints .

the detent inside the case will lock it were it needs to be after you shift it .

some say the range hi/n/low is real soft with a twin stick or doubler . i took a 5/16" bolt and ground it round and use it as a spacer to make the detent spring a lot tighter and its real nice now .

I lined up both flanges for “neutral”... the outside (hi n lo) stick is perfect. The inside one is where my questions and cofusion arise, the LOC UnLoC lever

From what I assume is neutral, I can feel 2 detents pulling shifter towards driver. Neutral, detent, detent.

Unless my neutral is off I dont know? There just isnt any video I can find showing what Im looking for.

There may be one going forward from neutral but its faint, sometimes doesnt really “click” in

I can dm my number and maybe face-time and figure this out...

20sec video:

As you can see I have Neutral both stick lined up, but not really anything pushing the inner lever forward. I can go from the position in the video, then 2 detent towards driver, with the inner lever.

Outer lever works great

I dont know how else to explain my confusion. Here is another video, please watch and let me know.
Picture is ORD instructions. My lever on both of my NP203 does NOT go “forward” any further than straight up. That inner lever has straight up 1 detent towards driver, then another detent towards driver.

By pulling the shifter towards driver the Tcase flange moves forward, so where is 2wd and 4wd?

To me forward means the shifter ging forward towards thr dash. Or does ORD mean the Tcase flange going forwards shifter towards driver?

“Rearward” of what? The shifter or the Tcase flange? If its the Tcase flange “rearward” is straight up? Then what are the other detents? I have Straight up, 1 detent pulling shifter towards driver, then 1 more detent pulling ahifter towards driver?

Honestly, Ive about had it with the damn truck. Putting this thing in gear should not have so much confusion. And it may be me not understanding, but Ive spent a solid month just reading about this damn transfer case and it’s gear positions and it still isnt clear. From locking hubs to unlocking Tcase in this position for that. Shi& this should be fun, more or less. Not this.

The transfer case may not want to shift into all its positions with the truck standing still and the engine off--it may need to roll a little to allow the gears in the case to align before it'll shift into the detent..

While that may be a possibility. I have a loose np203 where I can spin it by hand to engage gears. It’s detent positions are the exact same as in my truck.

The confusion, for me, is in ORD’s description of position, as demonstrated in the attached video. The inner flange does not move back, towards the rear of the truck. It stands straight up and moves 2 detents towards the front of the truck.

Unless by “rearward” they mean from having the inner flange all the way forward and moving 1 detent “rearward” from there? Which is what I suspect they mean. The confusion is most likely my inexperience in this Tcase gears and terminology. But I want to be certain this is what they mean.

Pictures of positions and what gear theyre in would help the 4wd novice.

I have emailed them but have yet to hear back.

best to call them .

I did, Jesse emailed me back that Stephen will be contacting me.

It’s probably correct how I have it. but me having no visual reference point to how “it’s supposed to be” makes it difficult to know if my Transfer case and shifters are working properly. It was so jammed with the stock shifter I have no idea whats what. Hell, before I installed this tein stick. No matter where I had the Tcase shifter the truck wouldnt move, when I removed and adjusted the flange by hand, the truck would buck into gear
