I have a SBC with a milodan oil pan, hi crossover steering by diy4x. Does anyone have a similar set up with the ORD engine cross member? Which one did you install, SBC or BBC and how much more clearance did you gain for steering linkage?

Get the big block version, it has extra oil pan clearance that may be a good idea with that pan.
The steering clearance isn't really different between the small and big block versions. The "high clearance" part is really due to the crossmember running directly between the motor mounts rather than curving forward a bunch like the stock one.

Fwiw, I'm running an ORD BBC crossmember and pieced together crossover with high steer - plenty of room.
What size tires you running
43" SX's (7" suspension + 1" body)
More importantly, how big is the lift and how far forward is your axle pushed....
