Ordering beauty rings today, and i'm realizing how little I know about anything.

The beauty rings i'm finding look cheap and skinny. I'm wanting factory or close to it rings.

This is what I have. These are 15inch right? 4x4 factory rims. I think I've seen deep dish rings too, are these deep dish or is it something different?

Also where I can I get a new grill emblem?

35 people have viewed this today and nobody knows what size beauty rings i need?? Seriously?

Is it a secret or something?

15 inch is correct.....

If it were me I would start a thread to see if anyone here has any to sell.

Go to parts wanted section.

um not being a smart *** but if your tire says , yy x yy x 15 , then you need 15 in rings ...caus eyou have a 15 inch wheel

The width of the wheel determines how wide the beauty rings are.

For instance a 15 x 7 wheel uses a different ring than a 15 x 8 wheel. You could use the 15 x 7 ring on the 15 x 8 wheel but not the other way around.

I appreciate you not being a smart ass. That would have been rude. There are only about 100 different types of rally wheel trim rings. Some say they are 3inches deep and others are 2.5 or 2inches.

Looks like you can get deeper trim rings for 2wd rims, then you can 4x4.

Looking this up on the internet is like trying to find lindsey lohans virginity.

I put a listing in the classifieds, but i've not waited long enough. I figure finding a really get used set would be unlikely Just gonna drop the coin and pick up new ones. I cant find GM OEM rings, thats what i'm looking for. I'll probably have to settle for chinese replacements.

Try calling a GM dealer you might get lucky.I got lucky looking for a set for my 15x7 wheels.OE GM trim rings gotta love it.

There are two widths from the factory, if the LMC catalog is right. 1 5/8" wide and 2 5/8" wide. They sell em for $100 a set for the wider version and they're stainless. PN is 38-3773 for the 2 5/8" wide version.

I've been looking at LMC magazine all day. Found the beauty rings, but couldn't figure out the best one.

So i search again, and turn a few pages and the trim rings are listed underneath the wheels. Real clear picture showing the width differences. I need colorful illustrations to learn :D

They are scratched up and faded. One doesn't match.... I'm picking up some new center caps, so thought now would be a good time to replace the trim rings.

Going to sandblast them and repaint them the right color silver this time too. Couldn't find argent silver when i painted them, and it came out alittle darker then i want.
