ORD's new High Clearance HD Engine Crossmember!!!

I also used this for a convenient place to hook up my tie down strap for the front suspension, we welded the tabs right to the crossmember for the limit strap and bolted it solid there. The axle tube had 2 tabs on it and I pinned the end of the strap into them when I wanted to keep it held down.

Now, if we can just talk you into doing some rear crossmembers for the doubler setup. Especially the front one to clear the front driveshaft....

I had read up on this sweet x-member on the ORD site, but I was wondering if it could be adapted to a GenI Blazer. I have mine down to bare frame right now, so I wouldn't mind any slight modifications, but it'd be better if I did it now than later. Any help? Oh I'd also like to run the ORD motor mounts b/c I plan on running a mild 454.

Good Luck!!! I wanted to modify one for my first gen.and got no response. Maybe we could just get someone to bend the pipe and build it from there. Looking at mine it doesn't look that difficult. Later J.
