See my lastest post below.

Bought a lightly used set of ORD discos and poly sway bar bushings from combatmatt. I think I can figure out how to put this all together but would welcome any pointers.

There's a L shaped bracket that I assume you attach the bar to when it's free. Where do I mount that and in what orientation?

I like to lube stuff like this up when I install it so what sort of lube works for poly bushings? I normally just use never seize.

Thoughts/advice/pictures appreciated. Thanks.

So am I supposed to remove the end link bushings?

The ones where the sway bars bolt to the spring plates?
Have the sway bar loose there and those suckers don't seem like they'll come out at all.

Ah, wait, looks like the p-side's sleeve stuck in the bushing...fun...

Okay, here's the question:

Do I leave the sway bar end bushings in WITH sleeves or without sleeves but with bushings or just completely sans bushings and sleeves?
I just noticed it had a ridge on the inside of the sleeve still stuck in the bushing and filed it down. Now the pin goes through great.

The pic is of the side with the bushing still there and no sleeve.

Thanks! Have any rusting issues? Seems pretty tight with the sleeves.

Can coat them with grease or never seize on install too. The sleeves would definitely eliminate any clunking too.

BTW, where'd all the sand come from? Took the bolts out of the disco's and sand came out all over the place.

Sorry bout that, should have cleaned them up better before i shipped them (free pile of colorado?). Most of the trails we run out in my neck of the woods are rocks/gravel/sand, i pulled those off so long ago i dont remember which trail was the last one with the 10 bolts. I coated the pins once and all it did was gum up with dust, that and every time i pulled them out/put them id get a little greasy. Not a big deal just a PITA.

True. Can't say I'll be disconnecting them a lot so probably worth it to do.

No biggie, was just kinda wondering about the sand. Didn't realize Colorado's soil was that sandy. I used to have a Ranger that the guy before me took to the Silver Lake Dunes every weekend for years. You couldn't loosen a bolt or nut on that thing without having sand fall out.

The front range is all sorts of sandy. My favorite part is learning to wear goggles everytime i want to go underneath my rig. All the nooks and crannies get so full of that stuff everytime i bump/wiggle something i get a faceful of grit. gotta love it.

I'd rather have that than here. Michigan is all sand and loamy soil like that sounds like. Kentucky is this horrid sticky clay mud. Slick as snot yet sticky as can be to get off of crap...and it just sorta hardens and stays until you get in there and poke it out or blast it out.

Has actually helped me decide to not build The Blazer for wheeling and get a side by side. Won't feel so bad coating a purpose made offroad vehicle in that crap...not to mention would be easier to clean.

Just called and talked to the man himself. He confirmed that I leave the sleeves in.

Now to get that one off the bolt...

Well, took the sleeve to work and ran a 3/4" bit through it. VIOLA! She fits! That one was just a tad bit undersized for some reason.

All bolted in and good to go...but do I run the big bolts that hold the bar brackets to the spring plates to the same 133ft/lbs that GM said to do the original bolts there?
Kinda thinking I would so I did. Just looking for verification.
