Would love to come but plans have already been made for the weekend. Where exactly is Sand Lake? I'm originally from Coos Bay, at the start of the Sand Dunes. Do you ever head down that far? Just curious.

Sand Lake is on the Oregon coast just about 10 miles south of Tillamook.

Haven't been down towards Florence, tho have heard it is really a great place to 'wheel.

I wish I could go. I have to work plus my rig is somewhat torn apart for a new paint job. Have fun and keep us posted on further outings.

Hey I'm from Coos Bay originally too -

I've taken my truck all over the dunes near Horsefall, but not for awhile - I sure miss the beach - I live in Clackamas now (east Portland) anyway - did you go to Marshfield or NB?

IGOR, I went to North Bend. Graduated in '87. My parents own McInerney's Auto Parts out in Empire. Did you go to NB or Marshfield? What year did you graduate?

Getting off subject. NBHS class of 82 here. Spent many a day and night getting into trouble and having fun at Horsefall. My rigs aren't ready for the abuse right now. I am looking for good parts sources in Oregon for my 68-72 chevs though. Email me with any leads.

Man, that sure looks cool to be out on the beach. I wish I could have gone. Thanks for posting the pictures.

It was fun that's for sure. Great weather too...........November and no rain at the beach? And only needed a sweatshirt...........gotta love it.
