Original ??

A very good day to you all,

I own a `89 K5 silverado 10 bolt front and 12 bolt rear.
My question, is the 12 bolt rear axle the original one came it whit this axle from the factory ?

Nope, shoulda came with a prone to exploding 10 bolt...even though its not the original axle its definately the best of the 1/2 ton axles Chevy used.
