I like a big single exhaust if done right its actually better than conventional dual exhaust

Nice!!! I was thinking about having it done like that over just buying some pipes.

Run the crossover under the tranny and into my current location.
Do the pipes cause any tranny overheating problems?

I havn't driven it that much to know for sure, but if you look the pipe goes under the engine oil pan not the tranny so I think the tranny will be fine. I may end up wrapping that part of the exhaust in heat wrap just for some insurance

So my headers have a 3" collector.

Would it be wise to run a 3" Y, 3" cat and a 3" muffler?


Or would I need smaller pipe for more back pressure?
