Other year Chevy bumpers on Squares

I'm trying to be cheap vs springing for something new, there's usually a couple of aftermark bumpers on FB Marketplace, but they're never for 73-87. Looking to replace my chrome rear with something a little more substantial. I don't know what the the divisions are past 73-87 Square... there's OBS (don't know the year range) and after that?

I'm not worried about having to make brackets to mount one, but as most wrap around the sides of the rear fender quarters is there any other years that are known to work on 73-87?

Everything after the squarebody is not compatible. Everything before is due to the same basic frame width.

So I get the frame width, is the body width different?

GMT400 has a wider frame than everything before it. The body has always looked slightly smaller to me, but I've never measured one.

Yeah, the gmt 400 bed tapers toward the rear. It's a few inches narrower at the rear, compared to the older trucks.
