Update;
Beadlocks have been blasted and painted with endura .Got a custom Alminum Fuel cell with center pick up from
http://www.bluetorchfab.com/. This should eliminate fuel starvation in off camber situations .The belly pan was made by Clayton of

We were lucky enough to have our good friend Rob Willson, install and set up our new fuel injection. The TBI fuel injection system was built for us by
http://www.affordable-fuel-injection.com/. I would highly recommend these guys.The system that was installed uses a O2 sensor, ignition module in the distributor, IAC motor, TPS, CTS and a chipped GM computer. The complete injection system and wiring harness is top notch. The instructions supplied were great. The truck also now has 2 ignition systems..... The MSD that we are still using, and the ignition system from the GM computer. If anything did mess up with the MSD, one would only have to move a few wires around and run off the ignition from the GM computer.
The fun does not seem to stop.
After installing the TBI fuel injection system, We ran into some issues setting it up to run correctly. First the O2 sensor was not switching, it was showing the engine as rich, no matter what was done. We could not get it to idle very well either. The motor just sounded sick. After further inspection and testing we the engine compression to be rather low for something that should have a 10:1 compression ratio 120 psi worth of compression is not a good thing. So...... off with the water pump, and harmonic balancer and timing cover to see WTF was going on. By mistake when the engine was put together the timing gear on the crank was put on in the wrong spot, causing the engine timing to be retarded. We did not bother re using the old chain and gears, new ones were picked up and installed in the correct position. After reassembly of the engine, a compression test was done. Engine compression is now is almost 160 psi....... Much better !
Rob hooked his laptop back up to the truck, and everything now seems to be working good. The engine sounds better then it ever has! The best way to describe it was.... Before it sounded like it had grunt, now it sounds like it has SNAP! The truck does have 2 ignition systems that would both operate the truck fine, It now has dual fuel pumps also. One for the Injection system, and one for the Nitrous system. With the addition of the fuel injection, the one Holley black fuel pump would not be enough for the injection system and the nitrous system. If the second pump was not added more then likely the engine would have leaned while the nitrous was being used. So, now the truck has 2 fuel pumps on it...... If the one running the injection system goes, There is a back up one mounted close enough to use! After a week full of issues, we asked lots of questions regarding the fuel pressure problem. Del of Deltech Automotive suggested a second regulator. It seemed as though the regulator on the TBI could not handle the flow of the pump we are using. The second regulator was the trick. It kicks ass now!!!!!!! Got the nitrogen bump stops on. Clay at Evolution whipped up a bumpstop canister for us. New valve covers on, wiring tucked away, belly pan on, cb installed ( squished the last one when we rolled last year ). The clear part of the lexan lets us see where the tires are at all times. Once again Evolution fabbed up a fix for a spindle on Jenny's( my daughter) quad. She took a jump last year and the wheel came off. Sheared the spindle. We won't have time to set up the Nitrous system for our trip to Moab.
Yes, we're cutting it down to the line as usual. Graphics go on Monday night.We leave for Moab Wednesday morning.
I think I should start thinking about packing, I know I have a tent somewhere.........
Looked outside and it is snowing. Looked at the weather and seems as though we will be driving and camping in snow.......they say more is coming . Will add an updated pic with graphics before we leave
More pics and stuff here
