On my 79 blazer, front most bolt is 9/16" and the two shackle bolts are 1/2" right? Or am i high?

Stock front bolt is 9/16", the two bolts through the shackle are 7/16".

Our HD shackle kit upgrades the rear to 1/2" bolts (jumping to 9/16" bolts makes for thin bushings that wear out more quickly without going to a bigger busing OD like our FUSH kit).

The front spring bolts are 9/16" like already said and up until 1988 the rear spring eye bolt was 7/16" but starting in 1989 GM changed to a 1/2" spring eye bolt on the front springs.

I think they only make 1/2" and 5/8"--you could bush a 5/8" one down to 9/16"..what do you need a 9/16" one for???....

It's a top secret experiment! :D I have yet find a 5/8-9/16 bushing. So I will probably have to have one custom made by someone like kert.

It's doubtful that you'll ever find one and to have one made it just wouldn't last since it would only be .03125" wall thickness.

Yea im thinking it would probably be better to get a larger one and have a bushing made for it.

3/4" bushed down would be pretty doable. Good possibility there'd be some tubing with the appropriate sizes already. I seem to remember having some .093" wall tubing at some point.
