out comes the cut off wheel and sazall

again.... when are you coming over to trade hoods so that cal hood isn't the next thing to get damaged? LOL... Whats up with the SAS on the sub?

I got dibs on the hood Cmoe, hehe.. sorry

For anyone having doubts for the way shawn drives this blazer, you can leave them at doubts because he is a very good driver.. we went some places last weekend i didnt think anyone could even go... the truck sustained the major damage on the back of the body in a very tight spot which im suprised he didnt get more damage...whats the use of having a street driver anyways, these things were meant to be offroad and thats it..

Im sick of hearing all the east coast guys that get rust and stuff talk about how were using up all the "Good" sheetmetal rigs.. its your decision to live where you are and deal with the rust..Shawn has wheeling in his blood and theres nobody who is gonna change it, i dont think ive ever seen him do anything stupid to put his life in harms way or to hurt the blazer on purpose, things just happen.. Ok rant over.. nate:D

Then get a job in a body shop... of course it's not my choice but that kind of sh!t gets expensive real fast. Just a humble warning.

No I wasn't saying I liked doing body work...everyone was just getting on him for no apparent reason. Like he said before...he likes working on his rig and it doesn't bother him to have to spend some $$$ and time after a trail run.

With that way of thinking everybody who is located in CA was born in CA and so on... that makes a whole lot of sense:screwy: :surepal:

My mom was born in indiana and moved to CA when she was 18.

I wasn't talking about you kid... I meant supersize. Just seems kinda of like a vicious cycle, but like I said it's not my call.

I have :D. I am pretty sure there are pics of it floating around too. Lower Woodpecker on a questionable line he almost went a$$ over tea kettle in the Red K5. He was trying to do some things in a truck he hadn't learned well yet and almost pooped his pants. :haha: This was early on though and I think he has learned at least a little from it and other experiences. How much remains to be seen but he has progressed a few steps forward.

And then there was that time he was hitting construction signs and cones on Deer Valley Road on purpose.

So it's going onto your rig then it's going to get all fupared up.... LOL

And for every one else.... Remember we bought our rigs for one reason or another...I've always liked the looks of a K-5 and wanted one for many years.... Well there are many types of offroading/trailrun; rocks, mud, old abandoned roads, fire roads and even pavement (if that what you want to have yours for) can be fun to investigate.... to go 4 wheeling doesnt only mean body damage.... I played on the rocks and tight trails the first time around with my 78 and loved it but after canging tubs I have chosen not to do things that are going to damage it light trails like going to old ghost towns and mines that are around AZ.... But now I need to get matching gears in front and rear again..... And being over 6' and close to 269lbs I like that I fit in a k-5 without having to fall into and duck my head into the vehicle....just my two cents work

Supersize, why don't u build an exo-cage? If done right, I think they can look pretty cool

not a fan of the exo cage..ewwwwwwwww, some really really look nice, but seems out of place in az, like I said its narrow here, also noted is that i have two friends with nice exo-cages, and they still have sheetmetal damage. looks cool, but not my thing.

lots of good points made, but at any rate im not out trying to bounce off rocks, it happens, it my money. also noted is that I can agree with some of my past being the wrong choices...and Harleu i pretty much did almost crap my pants that day:crazy: nothing hard, I just didnt have any of that thing called experiance..

the people I have issues with are kids/adults taking out a new hd chevy or dodge a 25-45 thousand dollar truck and and and tearing those up, it really irks me if its financed and then they put claims on their insurance to fix them..

I brake an old truck, its payed for, I fix it and its not my only truck to drive..

there are lots of trails to go enjoy and get no damage I also like those as well, if I want to play on those Ill take the 99 out turn on the ac, keep the doors shut and just explore..the 86 serves the purpose for a bit more action..
