"Out for delivery" - Today is the day I have been waiting for - softtopper is here!

As you can see I used to have to throw a tarp on at the end of the day, to keep the rain away. Now I don't.

Plus the doggah is much happier in the shade while we are out and about. What with that thick fur coat I am sure he's not as overheated! :pimp:

Looks Great!!

Its funny how we change as we get older. I was in the same boat years ago. Crazy loud stereo, loud exhaust, obnoxious everything. Now, as I get close to 40, I like a loud but not stupid stereo, and an exhaust thats just a little more than stock.

Happy Birthday. I'm sure I'll see you cruising around Loudon County this summer :-)

Thanks! The doggah loves it so far. He comes with me now and doesn't bake in the sun ... like today.

I was exactly the same way. My exhaust now has a tiny deep rumble and I'm thinking "This is too loud, I wonder if I can get a bigger muffle to make it completely silent?" :)

You will see me around, like the 5 times I went to Home Depot today ... you know, just installing a shelf in a closet with 3 screws. :doah:

And get this ... now with the rear seat back in I can't hear the 4x10's any more. Another bonehead move on my part. And I just ordered some new ones from Amazon. I will be returning those and shelling out the cash to do 6.5" front and rear now. I'm so dumb sometimes! :haha:

Haha! You sound like me. Seems I can't work on anything with out going back to H.D like 3 times our the autoparts store 3 or 4 times

Glad I am not the only one. I mean seriously, my projects go like this:

1. Plan everything out, go to Home Depot and get the required parts.

2. Start project, 15 minutes in go back to HD for something because shelf & clothes hanging rod I bought was not long enough.

3. Continue, lose drill bit, go back to HD for another one. Buy other fun stuff you don't need.

4. Come back, install one part, realize you cut it too short. Realize you didn't lose the drill bit, it was in the wrong place in your box.

5. Go back to HD to get part, return drill bit. On the way there, realize you can put some wood blocks at the end. Get other fun stuff you don't need.

6. Put wood blocks in. Realize the screws you are using are designed to go through the wood block, but not long enough to also anchor to the wall.

7. Go to HD to buy 2 screws.

8. Install one screw. Unable to install other screw because I have steel frame construction in my house. Strip screw head.

9. Go to HD and get more of the same screws.

10. Success! Quit for the day and have a beer!

11. Plan on going back to HD to return about 10 things you didn't need from step 1...

AHAHA its a vicious circle. Right Round the 3rd trip I question my sanity, intelligence, and if it was really so bad just piling stuff in the corner:haha:

I don't think I can ever get out of HD for less than 100 bucks. Those places are evil!

I would hate to see it if I lived close to ORD, DIY4X, or any other decent 4x4 fab shop.

I'm a day (or three) late and a dollar short, but Happy Birthday anyway.

The new soft top looks damn sweet with the white on white.
