The outer shell weatherstripping was trash, and i'm not 100% sure how the new one goes on. Do i just use adhesive and glue it like i've go it clipped? The one edge has a bit of a curl to it, not sure if it would go as-as, or i need to have the curl going down.

Use weatherstrip adhesive (3m) is my preference. Wear gloves and clothes you don’t care about.

also, Id flip it and have the curve facing the shell. Makes it set a bit easier.
Does that look correct how i have it laying on there?

I install mine flipped from how yours is. I start one end and glue about 3 inches and let it set. Then I’ll stretch and glue/ clamp the rest. We had a storm yesterday that dumped 3.5 inches in an afternoon. No leaks from the top.
Thank you. I came across a video finally and they flipped it and did it as you mentioned so that's the route I'll go

I just looked at mine and it is flipped the other way as yours. And yeah I did 3M glue and a bunch of clamps the same way you are doing.
