output shaft difficulty

i need a tranny, to swap for my sm465 for my k30

my friend has an sm465 that went to a 2wd truck

how hard is it to swap the output shafts so that i can use that?

shouldn't be that bad, but if you have extra peices then it's bad. just look online for a diagram of the 465

Well, the "output shaft" is more commonly know as the Mainshaft...so it'd be a full teardown and rebuild.

if your going to do it, might as well rebuild it. No worries then, just drive. thats what i plan on doing when i get the ambition
