Output shaft on a 700 r-4

Is the output shaft on a 700 r-4 fomr a 2wd truck, the same as a 4wd blazer 700? If not, can you swap output shafts?

I think they are the same spline count, but I think the length is different. Think the 4x4 shaft will be shorter. Not real sure. You can e-mail 700r4.com, they will be able to tell you for sure.

Will work for parts, beer and sex.

the whole shaf thas to be removed to make a 2wd tranny work as a 4wd tranny. which means the whole trans has to be disassembled, then reassembled....js
