Now that my garage is finally up and with concrete, and have a better paying job where I can finally afford to build stuff again, kinda want to go big and run some 40s. But, I dunno how tall it will be and if it will fit in the garage. Truck is a 99 GMC CCLB, prolly gonna be SAS'd, with cut out flares so wont need a tall lift, so guys with similar trucks, how tall is it? My doors are 8' tall.

@4door99 how tall is your ho?
Late to the party here……. Tahoe is somewhat mirrored off Off-road Designs white GMC. To keep it as low as possible, I’m running ORD’s SAS jut up front that adds 3” of lift. Then running 3” lift springs along with that. Net 6” of total lift. Then, trim fenders as much as possible. Used stock fender flares and trimmed those. Overall height is right there at 8’. So, running 40’s and keeping it as low as possible, you still mite not fit under your door.

Let the air out of the tires each time will get you there. :waytogo:

Lol I could. Not sure what size but might be with 16.5 rims since can’t run 15s, n they don’t like low pressure lol….

My shop is 12ft main bay and 9f 6in the rest . . No way would i build a shop for automotive any less than 12ft . Even then some lifts will rub the celling .

And 2.5" b.s. clears gm/dodge calipers on dana 60 . 3.0 - 3.5 little grinding . To let you run 15" 8 lug .

Well if I had known last year what my situation is now, I would have done it differently. But it’s done, glad I finally got a garage to work in, rather than laying in the mud or freezing my ass off. I have 15” 8 lugs, which would work great if I keep the IFS, I do have a new suoerlift kit in the box. But I have all the parts for an SAS, using a Ford HP44, and need like 2” to clear the calipers. But after some thinking and checking prices, most likely end up with 35s, maybe 36s, for 16s, possibly 17s.
