Hi, so I have a 90 sfa Chevy an am running a bastard(has 4 thicker leafs) set of 56's up front that I took the over load out of these springs are great for flexing but am afraid of breaking a leaf when I fall off a little rock or ledge the springs go anti arched like a w an they have horrible road manners it's like being in a boat on ruff seas, so i need a little more lift for up travel since im running the tie rod behind the axle an running into tie rod oil pan clearance during up travel so I've have another set of 56's with a 6 thinner leaf pack w/ an overload do I keep the overload which I know does keep the spring rate or think I'd be fine with just the 6 leaf pack w/o the overload?

IMO, with the rear-springs-up-front motif, run the overload. I see a lot of guys say you'll still wear them out, but not as fast.

I had 52"s up front and the dang things rode like marshmallows, truck bounced like a playground ride. I have since gone to a set of custom, stock-length ORD springs by Alcan.
