hey

I searched for P/U rollbars and couldn't find any
please post any pics if you have

thanks

Here is the best shot I have of mine. It isn't just a "light bar", it has 3/16 wall, 2.5" tubing and bolts through and sandwiches the bed with thick plates. It then gussets to the body. I am waiting for someone to come out with a good in-cab kit that I can buy and either weld or bolt into the cab...but so far no luck.

I can't see your picture. Try again.

Maybe he can't post pics because he's not a member yet. Sounds cool though. I'm sure it looks cool too.

You can be a registered member and post pics. Just have to have 5 posts first. He's got plenty. I call brain fart. :haha:

Well jegs & s&w both have kits for the pickups, but from the pics Ive seen on here of them installed....I'll be harassing a buddy to bend mine up to where there isnt a 4" gap between the tube & the body....already cramped enough in the cab with my big ass sittin in there.

I see we have the picture now.:D Nice paint job:bow:. Where did you get the sliders?

Yes, helps to preview your post first! I did the paint job myself at home...doesn't look that good now though, its ten years old. The sliders I also built myself. Couldn't go to the frame since the gas tanks are in the way, so I did body-mounted sliders. The front clamps the forward body support and the rear is a 4" wide, 1/2" piece that bolts to the body where the seat belts bolt. I have used them plenty and no complaints yet!

thanks a lot
you have a nice pickup

did you buy the diamond aluminum peices on bed-sides ? or build them yourself ?
can you post closer pics?

Ahmed

I'll try to get some closer pictures this week, but I bought those bedside caps. They are DeeZee brand. I had to modify the back of the side ones because the bed gets narrower, but they did not, so I just made a new radius.
