PA

You got your choice of 4 watts, 4 watts, or 4 watts. You can take it down to the "old-timer down at the truck stop" but I doubt your radio would ever be the same. Its just the way the radio is setup. A power mic would make it louder but you'd over-modulate and just end up sounding garbelled. You can buy a pretty inexensive PA system and you do more than you could with a CB. Like being able to hook it up to a CD player.

buy an car stereo amp (el cheapo) and an adapter that connects to the speaker wire output on the CB. wire up the amp, plug some rca's into the adapter and amp. connect your PA speaker wire into the amp and presto...the loudest PA on the block!!! heres a link to the adapter so you can get an idea of what it is. radio shack this is very simple to do. its how i did my old ladys car stereo because she wanted to keep the factory in dash cd changer which didnt have outputs for an amp.
