paint codes

Can someone lead me to gm paint chips(samples) for the 1977 year blazer or does anyone have a blazer with this color.I cant find the paint code,I think it should be in the glove compartment but no luck there.

Looks like a PPG 2815 Light blue.

This page does not specifically mention trucks or blazers but I have a feeling these are all the colors available for all Chevrolet vehicles. Maybe someone with more experience or a truck specific paint chip page.

You gotta choose "gmctruck" to get the right color chips for that.

Looks like 2892 "light blue" for 1977 GMC or Chevy truck.

See, that is what I get for not scrolling down the list and just selecting Chevrolet. They have chevrolettruck two items down that were off my screen. DOH!

I have one of the code books for 78 at home but you can buy all of the original paint chips from places like this one(Link) and others... I got mine off ebay.
