btw I dont know too much about paint guns.

I bought and use a Vapor and a cobalt gun. Vapor was $35 and cobalt was 60 The cobalt worked the best. I am very happy with it. I bough it at (cough) lowes (cough)
Thanks

well, the 3 main companies for guns are Devilbiss, Sharpe and Binks... Sata's tend to be bigger dollars..

I've always been a Devilbiss devotee.. They have their "startingline" series out at about $100... They have a 2 gun deal for about $100 that includes a touch-up gun... Go look on Ebay, their listed there all the time..

startingline - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DEVI...013QQitemZ230165052433QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

Be VERY leary of cheap $30 to $50 guns, many times they have plastic parts and aren't rebuildable or have adverse affects when cleaned in thinner... well, worth spending another 30 to $50 on a name brand...

dont know if i need 2 guns but do you think that them guns will produce good results? i dont mind spending 100 dollars.

certainly better than than cheap stuff Adam recommended... It's Devilbiss... They've been making guns since your grandpappy's day....

I'm gonna go with Ryoken on this and recommend a lower line Devilbiss. I've sprayed with the Finishline series and they were pretty decent for the money. I spray with a Sata now, but I'm thinking of buying a Devilbiss for a primer gun.

best primer gun ever, Devilbiss JGA... pre-HVLP.... Probably the best pressure pot gun too....

I have about 5 Devilbiss's, 2 Sharpes and 2 Binks... We have a Sata at work..

I bought this one from a buddy of mine. He got out of the game and let it go pretty cheap. It's a Satajet 2000 Digital HVLP. I'd rather have an Sata RP, I loved the last one I sprayed with. I've sprayed with the GTI Millenium Devilbiss' HVLP a lot, I always liked it. The only thing I don't like is the baffles they use between the tip and the gun body. I've broke a couple in my time. But they do spray well.
A guy I used to work for had a Sharpe siphon fed with a 3m disposable cup system. I really loved that gun. It sprayed very well. My dad has the same gun. I'm gonna try to order up a rebuild kit for it and fix it up for him. It was in bad shape last time I cleaned it.
