Paint Info

Hi all - I'm new to the Blazer/Jimmy thing, and have only had my '83 for a month now. One of the things I'm trying to do to it first is touch-up the paint. Does anyone know how I can find out the paint codes or names? Mine is an '83 Jimmy, and it's two-tone (black w/ light grey).

There should be s aticker uner the hood with the paint code info. Mine is on the drivers side fenderwell. Hope this helps

On my 90 Blazer its in the glove compartment..a sticker on the lid. Bottom right is a long letter and number.

I got some at the local auto parts store. They had a catalog there that you could look your vehicle up in.

Black metalic and gun-metal grey I belive. A good paint-shopp will have the paintcodes in a big flipp-over. Just look under GM and take a flake of the paint inside or the book outside.. Just been there, pricy though...ouchh!!

Thanks guys on the replies, but I still have no stickers or data plates anywhere. The only stickers I have are the 'Don't load a slide in camper on the back' one in the glovebox, and the tire pressure one on the door. - ???
