How many gallons does it typically take to paint a blazer? I'm debating doing a standard paint job or a bed liner, and I want to compare the price of each but I need to know how much I can expect to use for supplies. This will be a pretty cheap job, not going to spend much on it, I have a buddy who is going to prep and paint for $150, so i just need to get the supplies.

2 gallons is best to buy, so ya have some leftover... you can stretch a gallon to do it, but you'd be cutting it close.. thats single stage, not base/clear...

Get 3 gallons, then when you need to touch it up, you don't have to find the exact paint again /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Two gallons is more than enough if you are not painting the removable top also. I bet you would still have a little left over if you did the top also though. I just did mine, minus the top, and I have a lot left.
