paint question

i've used rust seal paint on my frame, core support, rear ends, steering linkage,under the body and it's holding up very good. i'm in s.e.ohio and the winters have been really rough the past couple years.i was wondering if anybody knows if it would be o.k. to use it on eterior panels? they had 3 coats of paint plus primer on them. used paint stripper and have them to bare metal. used the rust blast on them(some kind of zink stuff) to hold them for now.
