Thinking of rattlecanning the truck, as it's multicolored now. I'm debating between various kinds of camouflage or mildly crazy patterns. I've put up some quickie PaintShopPro images and a poll gizmo for you to tell me what you like. Just click on the one you prefer.

Clicken Ze Hier

and there's a mail-to link if you don't like any of that crazy lot.

Lemme know what think; thanks!

(EDIT: I'm actually stinking about spray bombing the crewcab, but did up the pix as K/5's for y'all's enjoyment, and cuz they're smaller and easier to PaintShop... plus while I'll hafta invent a CUCV style camo for the crewcab, that one is nominally authentic M1009 /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif)

I voted! But gotta give my input. For a rattle can job, consider the flat black. I've seen it before and it looks stealth.

Yeah, I admit I'm leaning to like an ultraflat desert tan. Simple, cheap, effective /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

The flat black would be rough on a vehicle in the summer heat, and I figger the lighter color would reflect it better.

Side note: so far the favorite is the orange camo (although somebody voted twice /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif) -- interesting, as I threw it together as an aftersight.

Thanks all who've voted, and keep telling me whatcha think!

I voted twice for the orange camo. /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif Sorry. I didn't do it 76 times though! /forums/images/graemlins/screwy.gif

Actually on mine I was thinking about an olive drab, tan and grey.. very mono-tone, no big contrasts... or it will be BRIGHT @$$ ORANGE! /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Chuckle. One of the 'Mog guys had one painted dayglo/hi-vis orange ... ran it like that, on the street, for two years without plates or registration.

Apparently it was camouflaged by virtue of being so loud. (Either that or the PD figured it was state DOT or something... but, wow.)
