Paint the hood?

Was thinking about painting the hood black, what do you think?

Its sorta sun baked right now, i think the black might look nice, give it that muscle car look.

or not? hehe

This was right after a wash, dont be fooled!

hahaha, i would be using a spray gun, doing it the right way with the right paint, most likely glossy to make the gloss paint, i have plans to paint the entire truck black next year during the summer.

I painted my hood when I first got my truck, it's a metallic light blue and I painted my hood flat black. It is the UGLIEST paint job I've ever done, its blochy with grey and just ugly. Strangely I love the wait it looks on my truck and I wouldn't change it.

I am not a fan of the black hood. Unless the black hood means something. Plus in my mind it has to be flat black.

So I say no paint

hahaha, the more i look at the picture the more i dont want to do it, but eventually it will all be black. ill prob just wait, im just getting ansy to do anything to it.

I wasn't expecting to like it, but it actually brings out the rocker contrast nicely and looks great with the black grille. Go for it! It can always change.

It'll be way better than the smiley face i did on my hood on a whim out in the desert while wheeling

I might wait until i paint the whole thing, i just need to do something to it that doesnt cost an arm and a leg, iv knocked out all the cheap fixes already, hehe.

Only thing to do atm is body mods until something breaks, i will say tho i think it needs new shocks. they look pretty dilapidated and you can feel all the bumps!
