I would look into either rust bullet or por 15 as far as paint is concerned. Ive heard pros and cons for both so a lil research is needed. Just make sure it is uv resitant or it will go to crap in a a year. As far as color black or gray semi gloss should work great. Btw very nice k5.

This is what my dad and I are doing on are build up project.(Which will be getting on here soon...) We sandblasted the frame because we have it all cleared off with nothing on it soon we are going to spray or paint on the "rust bullet" that we ordered and then because that is silver only we are going to spray gloss black over that, trust me it will look nice and you never have to worry again.

oh i see you, are supposed to use both of them right?

Ouch for everythinh you need
the cleaners
and a gallon of por15 and por15 chassis black

the pice comes to about $300

Is a gallon enough do paint the frame, leaf springs, axels
